About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, working with Dr. Jenna Wiens in the Machine Learning for Data-Driven Decisions Lab (MLD3). I am broadly interested in machine learning methods for healthcare applications and improving robustness to gameability in deployable algorithms, though my previous work has spanned natural language processing, poetry generation, computational social science, and more.

Previously, I graduated with my B.S. from Duke University, where I studied Computer Science (with a concentration in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence), Sociology, and Mathematics. There, I was fortunate to be advised by Dr. Cynthia Rudin and Dr. Christopher Bail.
